Ignore the outdated decor; the food is great.
Excellent service in both the dining room (by Sheila) and bar area (by John S).
Reservations are a must, even during the week. If you don't plan ahead, and there are no tables available, DO sit in the bar area; the food is that good and you may order from the bar menu as well as the full restaurant menu.
We visited twice on our recent one-week vacation to the Finger Lakes. On both visits, I enjoyed the SWEET watercress strawberry watermelon salad; the fruit was SWEET and so was the dressing which tasted like it contained pureed fresh strawberries.
On both visits, I ordered the hummus appetizer. The first time, I was served a trio of delicious hummus recipes and one was tastier than the other. On my second visit, I was served red pepper hummus which was OK but not as enjoyable as the flavors I had on the first visit. Three is better than one.
I recommend the peach cobbler dessert. Buttery tasting crumble and vanilla-tasting peaches. -

The Moroccan spiced pork loin and the 24 oz prime bone In beef rib cowboy steak ($ 68) were very good. Mushroom and Arugula Stuffed Cannelloni not so good. The Iceberg edge salad with creamy Roquefort dressing was a bit watery. The classic Caesar was better.
Service was a bit gruff. Little explanation of the dishes. Our waitress could only take the order. Beyond that, she was not helpful.
Prices are a bit high for Corning. -

This place is sooooo good! The caprese salad is fresh and perfectly balanced. The bread is something special it's salty but not overwhelming. You don't have to be dressed up but it's also more on the upscale side. The prices are also reasonable. The rack of lamb was delicious!! All around very pleased with our dining experience.

This restaurant is a correct choice to be in Corning for the first time. It's a very relaxing environment that you can enjoy and have decent memory. The food I chose is magnificent.

Amazing ambiance as well as tasty food! The porterhouse streak was so delicious!! The wine menu is extensive and tasty! Love the lighting and coziness of this restaurant.
It's a bit too open, so I feel there's no sense of privacy when you are eating with whomever because the tables are so close but other than that. I liked the food, the staff, THE DRINKS, and prices are reasonable for what you get.
